Hi all – nevermind on this one – SharkShifter had what I needed – 4ft sections for $30ish dollars. Great deal, and Mike is great to work with!

      Enjoy,

      Alan,

AWESOME! Just bought it – thanks! I wasn’t sure what to look for, this is perfect. I almost bought the $105 version on ebay (just kidding).

      Again, thanks,

Guys, with your info my search is over – thanks again for the help! Brake pads will be shipping soon, and it sounds the like replacement is super easy based on your info – thanks again!

Looking forward to March in Indiana at NCMP!

      Eric/Eric,

Thanks for the quick response! I will start my search on pads and if I have any additional questions will post again. I would have never known the difference on the V05 and 2000-up.

      Thanks,
      Dave

Thanks for the quick response – this is what I expected but my tech warned me so I figured I would ask. I had another similar thread where we discussed chains and based on feedback I don’t see why I wouldn’t use one. Thanks again. More feedback is welcome, especially if there are concerns :)

      Thanks,
      DaveR

      Paolo,

Thanks again for the quick response. I hate parting with $50 when $20 might work, but in this case I like the idea of having it work whenever I need it. As for chains, my take is a good $25/$30 of any brand will work.

      Thanks again,
      DaveR

Thanks for the advice on using a master link (and safety wiring). Any advice on a chain or should I invest in the nice three screw or will a single get it done?

      Thanks again all,
      DaveR

Woops – ok, cut and paste didn’t work so well.  My purchase was from Amazon for a: Tenergy 9.6V 2000mAh NiMH High Capacity Battery Pack for RC cars.

      Good luck!

      Greetings,

I run a shifter and had a similar question.  I called up the AIM folks and they told me just grab a 9.6V RC battery.  Here is what I purchased from Amazon for $16 bucks:
      <h1 id=”title” class=”a-size-large a-spacing-none” style=”box-sizing: border-box; padding: 0px; font-family: Arial, sans-serif; text-rendering: optimizelegibility; font-weight: normal; font-size: 21px !important; line-height: 1.3 !important; margin: 0px 0px 0px !important 0px;”><span id=”productTitle” class=”a-size-large” style=”box-sizing: border-box; text-rendering: optimizelegibility; line-height: 1.3 !important;”>Tenergy 9.6V 2000mAh NiMH High Capacity Battery Pack for RC </span></h1>
I bought a charger as well.  I mounted it right in front of my gas tank, and I charge it in place.

      Hope this helps,
      DaveR
