      Crap – I’m with Jim….. I just re-read your post and see that this is a push button Leopard. Sorry for wasting your time with disconnecting the ignition switch – you don’t have one – we do and it can cause similar problems.

      I would try something easy and free first. Disconnect the ignition switch and see if it starts and runs right.
