    For all those attending this weekends WKA Grand National at VIR, please be advised, “you will be required to wear long pants and closed toed shoes on hot pit lane”.  No exception.

    The WKC President, Rodney Smith was just contacted about this requirement.  It’s very unfortunate, but according to the folks at VIR, they must enforce this policy.

    Sr.,

    This is a regular practice at Laguna. At least at the Super Stars of Superkarts gig. I expect an “Insurance issue” is the cause of this. At worst it’s an inconvenience, no biggie. Just bring a pair of XL sweats…..easy on and off.
