I had a weird accident and bent the lower half of the spindle bracket up. My Kart shop didn’t know what to do, and ended bending the tang down, half way the middle, with a crescent wrench, making it worse. I measured and found the bracket tangs on the good side were 55mm apart. I had a machine shop make a block of steel 55mm long. I thought I could square it with this. To fix it, I have to bend the whole bracket down, then hammer the outward half up. But the bracket didn’t budge with hammering. Should I heat it with a torch? I live in Silicon Valley. Does anyone know a metal expert who can bend chrome molly? I thought maybe a bicycle or Harley shop.
