The final Summer Shootout Race is this weekend!

Come race under the lights on September 21 with So-Cal Sprinters at Adams Motorsports Park, as we close out our Summer Shootout.

Gates open at 1:00pm. See the So-Cal Sprinters website for the details. Registration forms can be downloaded from our website. Pre-register for the event and save $$.

 

We will close out the regular season in October.

I had a great time racing the 100 cc class at Adams in July.  Brought back old memories night racing.

I’d like to encourage others to dust off the Yamaha or HPV, throw the 3 pipe on and take off weight.  The track surface and the lighter kart is a formula for fun.    The Adams track shaved down one of the berms near turn 14,  so the track is good.

I think its 350# for Yamaha and 360# for HPV but check the So Cal website for details and racing starts at 3:00 PM this Saturday.

The Aug 24th race was more fun than the July race.  We had 13 100cc karts and some esteemed karters like Terry Nash and Jason Hettervick show up.   There were several of the less experienced drivers that showed potential by turning fast lap times during the event.

Again, track surface and track layout perfect for the piped 100cc class.   I hope to make it next month and win but it’s tough when the pea pick puts you in 4th starting position in the Pre-Main.

So-Cal Sprinters hosting IKF final race of the season, to be held at Adams Motorsports Park. Championship titles will be determined by this race.

This Sunday a TV crew will be at the track filming Kid Kart racer, Rylee Martinez. Come out and support her!

This Saturday all registered drivers will receive a ticket entry for the opportunity to receive one of two POSEIDON watches that were donated by Anthony Siragusa to the So-Cal Sprinters. The drawing will be held at the drivers meeting, so make sure you are registered plenty of time before hand.

Used by military and commercial divers, you know that these watches are durable and can stand up to just about anything.
