Rotax 2017 starter switch

Anyone else with the new 2017 Rotax starting switch having trouble with it? We upgraded our Rotax this year and the starter worked fine for a couple of months, then got progressively less reliable. The switch lights when you put it in the On position, but when you push it to the start position – nothing!  It’s definitely not the battery as we’ve tried new, freshly charged batteries. Sometimes jiggling the top or bottom parts of the switch get it to start.

Is there a way to separate the switch from the harness to look inside? I see a tab that looks like it holds the 2 halves together, but I can’t pull them apart.
