      I have a 125cc rotax an need to know if I can put a 10 40 synt oil in the gear box like a mobil 1 or do I need rotax oil this is not a shifter kart.  Thank Yous. just for a parking lot.

      nothing special needed; motor oil or automatic transmission fluid is fine

      This is a 125 max an last night I drained the gear oil in it an first the oil looked like rear end fluid it was thick an a greenest blue in color an about about 1/2 oz. came out. is there anything I can do to get it out better can you pour some gas in it to clean it out? an I loosen the bottom bolt to drain the oil an then when I put it back in do I go to the next bolt to the left to make sure the case is full till it comes out the hole hope I didn’t confuse you guy just want to get it right. Thanks Again Larry.

      Don’t pour gas in there. Just leave the drain bolt out and tip the motor sideways up against something and let it drain overnight. After, just put the drain bolt in and put 100cc of oil or ATF in there and you are good to go. No need to take out any other bolts to check the fill level. It’s just splash lubrication in there, it doesn’t need to be super exact.
