If you are a veteran roadracer you will know who I am speaking of. We lost Rosie Howell yesterday. Rosie was a veteran official and race director for the WKA roadracing series for many years.

The world is a poorer place without him.

      Oh no…..

God Bless um, what a great guy. He loved our sport and did it a great service with his leadership and support.

I was just talking about him with another “lifetime member” this week!!!!

When I think of the good ole days of karting in my family, it HAS to include Rosie Howell. We miss him already…….

I wish his Family and loved ones a great sense of peace.

      God Speed Rosie!!!

        Another GREAT lost to karting!!!!!!!!!!!!

He was always enjoyable to be around. We spent a weekend together at a track I promoted discussing having a WKA event there.

        RIP Rosie

Very sad. Just thinking about Rosie brings back memories of “the good ole days” and everything that was right about enduro karting in its hey days of the ’80s. And that B-“Stock” (so they claimed) Emmick that he and Scott Jacumin campaigned was still one of the fastest things I’ve seen. Always a barrel of laughs and a man who gave everything he could to the sport.

      RIP
