I recently broke in my new 206 and after a couple of sessions at full speed, I wanted to check the spark plug. I’m new to the class and don’t know how to read it. Please advise. My spark plug was very white with a bit of white substance on the electrode. Outside temp was low 80s and engine temp got up to 384. From what I’ve read, I cannot change the jetting, correct? Also, do I need to worry about spark plug gap?

Sounds lean.  Set gap to .040″.  Correct, if using B&S rules you can’t change the jet.  You can change the needle setting.  Drop the clip down on the needle to richen the mixture.
