  Why can I no longer post a photo from photobucket? I can post the link but on the “new and improved forum” I can’t get the photo to come up like it did on the old forum. What do I need to do?

  I just ‘cut’ the URL that you posted on EKN Classic, clicked the ‘img’ tab in the forum here, and the ‘pasted’ the URL into little Image Pop-Up that is presented, added a name for the image in the second pop-up, and ‘ta-daaa’ here it is.

  OK it worked for me also. I wasn’t hiting the image tag (didn’t need to in the old forum) I also found that I have to use a diffrent link than I used to from the photobucket choices.

  This forum may not support BBCode, like the old forum. Instead it seems to use html tags.

  Rob, you might want to add “BBCode support” to your long todo list. It’s the internet standard for forum formatting. I’m surprised that wordpress doesn’t support it by default. Maybe there’s just a checkbox to enable it?

  The photo has to be uploaded to a website to publish on the forums. Either photo bucket, facebook or smugmug. You can not directly upload a photo to EKN to display in the forums. Our FAQ will have instructions on how to publish photos to the forum this week. Thanks.
