Here are some of the most important details:

CLASSES – This year the PKC is running S1, S2, S3, S4, S4 SUPER MASTER, S5, TAG JUNIOR, TAG SENIOR, TAG MASTER, TAG CADET & TAG CADET ROOKIE. All 1st thru 3rd place finishers in each class are eligible for trophies — and ALL drivers in attendance at the podium ceremony will be eligible for EXCITING raffle prizes! Check out the updated REGION CLASSES page – there have been some exciting changes in quite a few categories!

TRACK & VENUE INFO – Everything you need to know about this racing venue is posted – including the track layout, gate hours, directions, pit spot reservations, and the gate fee, here: http://www.superkartsusa.com/regional/california-pkc/event-calendar/round-1-2015.html?start=1

DISCOUNT PRICING – Your BEST deal is to purchase your race entry and stamped race tires for just $310 ONLINE with a credit card by this Tuesday night at midnight. You save up to $80! If you’d like to pay by check or cash, that option is available as well. Use the downloadable form – and send it to PKC via email or fax by this Tuesday night for the special ‘manual’ pricing (which still saves you time – and $35 off the WALK-UP entry fees): http://www.superkartsusa.com/dmdocuments/2015_PKC_Race_Entry_Form.pdf

AN ANNUAL SKUSA MEMBERSHIP – Is still required to race with PKC (and now also applies for those racers running a SKUSA class at LAKC). Apply or renew online for just $75 – and SKUSA will confirm your license and race number within 24 hours. This will help you prepare your kart with your REQUIRED NUMBER PANELS. If you are not sure if your license/membership is still current, just email info@superkartsusa.com – and SKUSA will check and notify you promptly! Your membership is good for a full 12 months from date of purchase/renewal.

COMPETITION RULES – If you want a refresher on PKC’s competition rules, go to http://www.superkartsusa.com/regional/california-pkc/rules.html

A TENTATIVE EVENT SCHEDULE – Is posted as well to help you plan your weekend at Buttonwillow! Move-in starts on Thursday, afternoon February 5th, and the gates are open all night for any late-comers. The official practice day is FRIDAY 2/6 , from 9am to 5pm, and race day is Saturday, from 7:30am to approx. 5:30pm, followed by an exciting podium award presentation and raffle drawing. NOTE: There is no practice on track on Thursday, as moving into the pits will be quite busy. Go to http://www.superkartsusa.com/regional/california-pkc/event-calendar/round-1-2015.html?start=2

PIT SPOT RESERVATIONS – Are HIGHLY recommended, and most of the teams and individual drivers have already blocked their space! Check out the latest pit map — and reserve space now if needed: http://www.skusastore.com/product-p/pkc-evt-pitspot.htm

10-DAY WEATHER FORECAST FOR BUTTONWILLOW – Looks like it’s gonna be PERFECT for racing! Mild temps and NO rain in the forecast!

Don’t forget that PRE-ENTRY CUT-OFF is THIS Tuesday night! Please help spread the word, and…
