The Mid-Ohio School will allow karters to attend the “Twilight” session at the Test and Tune scheduled for Thursday, April 21, 2016. Arrive at the track sometime before 3:30 pm to get set-up, attend driver’s meeting at 4:30, and sessions start promptly at 5pm. We get one 20-minute session each hour, for 3 hours, giving us 60 total minutes of track time. Cost is $195. It is best to register for the session by calling (419)884-4000, reference “Twilight Test & Tune”, or write me for details. A great way to prepare for the season on track.
Sid, The fee is per driver and there is no limit on type or number of karts as most us will be breaking in new motors, so therefore taking it easy. There really is no cutoff date except that I told them that we would have at least 5 folks sign up, so we need to show up to make sure that they allow us to do this in the future. We get a lot of track time for our money and it is efficient. Hope you join us as it is very relaxed.
This is a reminder that we still are scheduled for a slot at this “test and tune” but if we don’t have a reasonable number of participants I will cancel this slot and not spoil it for other opportunities in the future. If you plan to attend please let me know by email, posting, or a call by next Friday, April 14.
Mid-Ohio Test and Tune cancelled for April 21—Unfortunately we had so little interest in attending this Test and Tune event that I told the track not to hold a session open for karters. The next test and tune at Mid-Ohio is the Thursday (June 16) before the Mid-Ohio race weekend. Hope to see everyone at MIS in May.
