When fine tuning with head temp (under the spark plug pickup), what is the ideal temp range to be in? And is that target temp always the same for all animal classes?
It varies a lot just by driving style.
The cooler the head and the hotter the oil makes the most power.
What Steve said is easily demonstrated on the dyno. Cooling the head by any method will always show better HP numbers.
