Hello everyone! April 16th is our next race on our exciting HYBRID race track at Thunderhill; only six weeks away. Our neighbors to the north are planning to join us as well as groups of sprint/roadracers from the south. There has been a resurgence of TaGs, 80 shifters, and 4 strokes lately which this new track seems to have been made-to-order for, although I have to admit I am having an absolute blast in my 250 on this track (can you say throttle steer ;))!! The last race included friends and family track time at the end and I thought I was going to get murdered by my new racing buddies wife after he took my superkart for a try and wouldn’t get out of the seat, but much to my surprise she was almost as excited about it as Bruce was! Anyway, don’t forget to bring a sprint racing friend to this track to try roadracing because they will love this track!

NCK will not be doing Willow Springs this year Just not enough commitment from the So-Cal racers for us to come down and do an event. We will look it again next year.

Hello left coast roadracers. I got a call from Russ Dyer and he told me we had 23 drivers from the Northwest attend our Thunderhill race (not one of them named Hegar :)! Thanks to all of you travelling to enjoy the racing we love so much! I know of 4 people from California travelling up to Shelton in June and I am actively trying to convince others. I hear the track has made improvements since the last time I raced there and I am getting fired up about racing there again.

The trip was fantastic and the the result was fabulous! Yep Jim made me and Mark steaks! I did make a bet that I lost and now I owe Jim the best breakfast burrito I have ever tasted. The track was awesome and our karts performed dutifully! The motorhome motored and we got back ahead of schedule. Now it’s time to get ready for Thunderhill 3 mile east track. One of my favortite tracks because there is plenty of run off room and the club always has friends and family after the racing is done. Hope to see all my friends there.

Now I am really stoked to go racing on the big track at Thunderhill. Me and John Benson had a good scrap at The Ridge and I have no reason to believe it will be any different! It is going to be hot so bring shade and water! The race is MONDAY June 27th.

Hi everyone, I am somewhat new to karting but not to racing. I am interested in coming to the event at the Ridge on September 30. My friend and I would like to know what’s required for us to race, aside from the karts and gear. Do we need to pre register, if so home much. We have two ICC shifter kart and all the nesassary gear. Any information would greatly appreciated. Thanks.

John, ask that question on the Portland Karting forums. You will get good info from there.
