As the promoter for Lake Afton, I hope to see all the KART/MARRS and any other roadracers at this event. Perfet track to tune for HPT where the KART roadrace nationals will be held October 4-6. Event schedule and entry form is on the KART web site (http://www.kart.org).
Any questions, contact me at 316-218-3645 or at donnaandkelly@hotmail.com
Pre-tech…. Ted and I will be doing pre-tech again, as we did at Hallett. Please be sure hubs and brakes are secured properly. We gave free passes at Hallett and are just about out of them.
There will not be free passes at the Nationals at Topeka, unless very unusual circumstances arise. All of our local competators should be well aware of the rules by then and had ample time to comply.
Love and kisses

Brad, Lindsay and Shannon will be doing the pre -tech along with both Roger & Ted looking at some different things. I have asked everyone to look at the usual stuff and at bumpers, nerf bars, etc since come 2014 there will be new rules on these items.
It has been asked if I would mine having a Unlimited local option class on Saturday, answer is YES there will be one. It will probably be put in with race 5 but I will wait until the event to see who/how many show before putting it with a race on Saturday.
4 karts ready to load!!!!!!!
4 loaded and waiting on #5 to load!!!!!
Looking forward to seeing my racing friends at Afton!
This will be a big event!

Another great event @ Lake Afton, a little warm but bearable.
Thanks to Kelly and family, James & Maysha (and James’s friend), and Kelly’s friends that stepped up at the last minute to help out so the rest of us could play.
See everyone @ HPT.

Thanks Linda and to everyone else who attended.
I had to scramble for help on Thursday as I lost both my kart pickup and a couple of corner workers due to them going into the hospital on Wednesday but all worked out.
Had a good turnout and of course, SUPER racing. Who would ever think that September at Afton it would be 95+ degrees!!!!!
It was nice to see the regulars along with the NEW racers. Sounds like everyone had a great time.
See everyone October 4-6 at HPT for the 2013 KART/MARRS – RUSSELL KARTING SPECIALTIES Road Race Nationals. “THE MAN” hopes to return to DRIVING at this event (Bad news for the others)!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank all of you that put this event together for us.
It is a pleasure to race with all of you!!!
KART MARRS Shifter 125
Thanks to KART/MARRS and the Read family as well as all that helped organize and work the fall Lake Afton event.
For those of you that struggle to find mylaps results for our series and that can’t stand how the events are sorted or for whatever reason, use the link provided below…..it is the organization page and it even sorts the events lastest to oldest…..what a novel idea! This events results are not yet posted but at least the link saved in your favorites or bookmarks might make looking up future results a little easier…… I for one hate the search function on the new site.

Thanks for that link, Dan. I had one that took me to MARRS’ results, but it wasn’t chronological and had a lot of other events there, too. I always had the suspicion that it contained every event where even when MARRS was renting our system to others, their events were included too. Yours is much better.
