Living in Nebraska there are zero sprint kart tracks near me and am thinking in the near future would like to get back into karting with my son and I. Just doing indoor karting now maybe 2 three times a year. My folks have a house in Idaho Springs, CO that could keep equipment at. Just wondering where the nearest place is for us to start getting our feet wet again. Marhsalltown, IA used to be the closest place to go practice.

Delmar is about 4.5 hours away from me definitely going to shoot to get there some in 2015 thanks for the info. Denver is about 7.5 hours for us but can stay with family and visit them. I went to that site for the Colorado Karters it’s not very clear what tracks are available area. I’m told there are three tracks in the area would you happen to know the track names?

If you are willing to do some road racing (in sprint style karts or lay-downs) KART’s series runs 5 races anually in Kansas and one in Hastings, NE. Additionally, there is a sprint track in Kansas City that may be reasonably accessible to you.

Links to the tracks in Colorado. The Track, Action Karting, and IMI are three closest to Idaho Springs.

http://www.racingwhere.com is a good source of info for track, series and schedules.
