Why have I never seen one of these engines in use?  Why does TM seem to dominate in KZ ?

The TAG version of the KZ engines have never really took off and have no world or national series.  The IAME KZ engine non TAG has had good showings this year on an international level.

They aren’t classing them seperatly for the starter. You’d have the aditional weight but depending on the drivers weight it may or may not matter. I’m thinking about one because it’s well supported localy. I’m just not so sure about getting into something that no one else is using.

      Brian,

I have a TM K9ES & it’s a nice engine.  I don’t know where you’re at, but if you have local support, it’s worth looking at.  Despite opinion about TaG’s, the electronics on these are actually simple & reliable.  Maintenance intervals for the TM are 100-140 L/top end, & 440-480 L/bottom end, making the price difference for parts rather academic, in my opinion.

If you have the chance to drive one, definitely try it out.
