Some air got into my Intrpeid’s brakes system but I don’t know what brake fluid my kart takes. Is it Dot 4 or Dot 5? Maybe even Dot 5.1? Pretty sure its supposed to be silicone based though. Please help. Here are some photos:
Most Euro karts use DOT 3 or 4. The only karts I know that use Dot 5 are MCP systems on dirt and American karts.
Okay. I used DOT 4. Thanks for the reply
That system uses Dot 4. I prefer Motul RBF 600 fluid for them. The newer Intrepid brake systems use Dot 5. Not compatible.
