decided to take the 80 off the shelf and get it out on the track…interested to know how the clutch cable is typically routed around the motor and into the cable carrier….I’ve been trying to work with a CR125 clutch cable with the prebent metal router for those cases…seems like there should be a carrier or something to support the cable around the engine…thanks in advance.

From what I remember, a 125 clutch cable goes into the motor near the countershaft sprocket, on a CR80 there is a bracket that is attached to the right rear cylinder base stud. Do you have this bracket? It is called “Receiver, clutch cable” Honda part #22821-GBF-830.

      Hope this helps.
