Our EVENT CALENDAR is the link to each event’s information, and our ONLINE STORE is open until this Tuesday night 4/7 at midnight for everything you will need for this event – including practice and race tires, spec oil, spectator passes, even your SKUSA membership!
Here are some of the most important details:
CLASSES – This year we are running S1, S2, S3, S4, S4 SUPER MASTER, S5, TAG CADET & TAG CADET ROOKIE, TAG JUNIOR, TAG SENIOR and TAG MASTER. All 1st thru 3rd place finishers in each class are eligible for trophies — and ALL drivers in attendance at the podium ceremony will be eligible for EXCITING raffle prizes! Details can be found on our updated CLASSES page.
TRACK & VENUE INFO – Everything you need to know about this racing venue is posted at http://superkartsusa.com/regional/california-pkc/event-calendar/round-3-2015.html?start=1 – including directions, the track layout, overnight parking and pit reservations, even the gate fee.
DISCOUNT PRICING – Your BEST deal is to purchase your race entry and stamped race tires for just $310 ONLINE with a credit card by this Tuesday night at midnight. You save up to $80! If you’d like to pay by check or cash, that option is available as well. Use our downloadable form at http://www.superkartsusa.com/dmdocuments/2015_PKC_Race_Entry_Form.pdf – and send it to us via email or fax before midnight this Tuesday night for the special ‘manual’ pricing (which still saves you time – and $35 off the WALK-UP entry fees).
ANNUAL SKUSA MEMBERSHIP – Is still required to race with PKC. Apply or renew online for just $75 – and we’ll confirm your license and race number within 24 hours. This will help you prepare your kart with your REQUIRED NUMBER PANELS. If you are not sure if your license/membership is still current, just email us at email@example.com – we’ll check and notify you promptly! Your membership is good for a full 12 months from date of purchase/renewal.
COMPETITION RULES – If you want a refresher on our PKC competition rules, click http://superkartsusa.com/regional/california-pkc/rules.html .
TENTATIVE EVENT SCHEDULE – Is posted at http://superkartsusa.com/regional/california-pkc/event-calendar/round-3-2015.html?start=2 , and will help you plan your weekend at Buttonwillow! Move-in starts on Thursday afternoon, April 9th, and the gates are open all night for our late-comers. The official practice day is FRIDAY 4/10 , from 9am to 5pm, and race day is Saturday, from 7:30am to approx. 5:15pm, followed by an exciting podium award presentation and raffle drawing. Sorry, but there is no practice allowed on track Thursday 4/9, as moving into the pits can be quite dangerous with karts ripping around.
PIT SPOT RESERVATIONS – Are HIGHLY recommended, and most of our teams and individual drivers have already blocked their space! Check out the latest packed pit map at http://www.superkartsusa.com/dmdocuments/pkc-socal-r3-pitmap.pdf — then if you haven’t already, you can reserve a space at http://www.skusastore.com/product-p/pkc-evt-pitspot.htm .
HOTELS AND CAMPING – If you do not yet have a place to stay, we have 2 local motels listed at http://www.superkartsusa.com/regional/california-pkc/event-calendar/round-3-2015.html?start=3 . We also allow camping at this track on Thursday and Friday night for just $50. Those reservations can be made at http://www.skusastore.com/product-p/pkc-evt-camping.htm .
Don’t forget that PRE-ENTRY CUT-OFF is THIS Tuesday night! Please help spread the word, and…
Hope to see YOU in Buttonwillow!
