The 2014 Briggs 4 Cycle Super Showdown is really ramping up to be even better than last year’s event which saw over $5000 in cash and prizes given away in a Briggs & Stratton class format.

The date is set for Oct 31 – November 2nd (Halloween Weekend) and should be an awesome event with great Phoenix,AZ weather and great racing with a unique race format including grid inversions and a cumulative points scoring system. The event is to be held at the Formula K raceway otherwise known as PKRA ( http://WWW.PKRA.COM) in North Phoenix,AZ on the 7/10 mile 12 turn pavement track.

With the growth of Briggs World Formula and LO206 classes across the country, this event opens up an oppurtunity to get together and race when most race seasons are shutting down in other parts of the country.

More news will be released soon with details on classes and entry along with a new Website portal with all of the information.

FYI: The Calendar on PKRA’s Web site shows the track as closed 10-31-14 and open practice 11-1 & 11-2. I hope its just not up to date.
Can you tell me what tires are to be used for WF Masters?

Shoot. They are currently working on updating that and creating a new website dedicated to the race.

It will be those days as posted with practice on Friday and 2 days of racing with a unique cumulative points system. Inverting the field and making for a great weekend of racing.

Tires will more than likely be MG HZ red, Bridgestone YKC, and Burris 55.

Feel free to send any questions to Bernie Lacotta at Surflacotta@gmail.com

    Or me at KGBUSA@AOL.COM

Entry for the race has opened.  There have been a bunch of entries coming in so far.  The entry sets your position for the 1st heat race.  No qualifying at this event.

Prices for pre entry go up in October.

Only $150 to get entered currently.
