I’m new to karting, and Matt S. shared this new group with me last week. Spoke to Brian briefly yesterday at ARP and the ONLY reason I have any interest in participating is simply for the camaraderie of hanging with others who share a similar interest. I’ve raced motocross for years and had far more fun meeting up with a dozen friends from other areas of the State, every weekend hanging out, running practice laps. Looking back I don’t miss the racing it was too much stress, time, money and commitment than I now have interest in, but I do miss those fun non-race weekends running laps with my friends. Glad to hear this group is keeping the sport fun. One suggestion to consider is breaking groups into two classes based on timing regardless of engines package. In MX races, you could run anything in either a beginner, novice or expert class. Whatever you decide count me if for the fun aspect.
