Good Article: Sadly, karting has taken the path of the rest of the world. It’s all about “ME”. I was pulled out of a football game once by my Father, for what he considered a cheap shot- certainly wasn’t intentional, and 50 years later, I’m still not sure it was a cheap shot :). But, I was loaded up and taken home, from a high school football game, right then. He wouldn’t even wait until the game was over. I learned a lot- in his house, If you weren’t Trying your best, wasn’t dedicated, and wasn’t the best sport on the team, you didn’t need to play. I’m not sure how you are going to get all of these coaches, parents etc to all of a sudden become better people. The win has become too important- but its that way everywhere you look, not just in Karting. Until you have people taking their drivers off the track, the second they make one of these overly aggressive moves, you have no choice but to hope the sanction body does.
