PSL Karting team triumphed during their double-header weekend at the New Castle Kart Circuit for Pro Tour round 5-6 and Circuit Icar Mirabel for the Canadian Open.

At New Castle, the team secured their second consecutive Pro Shifter title with Marijn Kremers’ outstanding performance, consistently among the fastest. Kremers claimed the category title with a 4th-place finish on Sunday. Saturday witnessed a remarkable comeback by Hunter Pickett (Shifter).

Matheus Morgatto (X30 Senior) scored a podium finish with 3rd place on Saturday and narrowly missed it on Sunday, finishing 4th. Matheus also finished 3rd in the championship standings.

The excitement continued at the Canadian Open, where Lucas Pernod emerged victorious in DD2, earning him a ticket to the prestigious 2023 Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals. Pernod also clinched the Pole position and the top spot after the Heats. Francisco Bourassa (Master) and Samuel Lupien (Senior) added to the team’s success by securing 2nd and 3rd positions, respectively.

Kevin King, Team Principal, states “It was a great weekend with Kremers crowned as Pro Shifter champion and Pernod earning his spot in RMCGF. It was a big effort, but we did very well. Looking forward to the next races.”
