Anthony Martella Set for Hundreds of Laps at the Orlando Kart Center
USPKS, ROK Cup USA Florida Winter Tour and the SKUSA Pro Tour
It is a busy month of March for Canadian Anthony Martella. With a test weekend already in the books, Martella will pilot a Speed Concepts Racing (SCR) prepared Redspeed by OTK at the opening round of the United States Pro Kart Series (USPKS) this weekend, the ROK Cup USA Florida Winter Tour (FWT) next weekend, and the Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) Pro Tour at the end of the month, all of which will take place at the Orlando Kart Center.
“It is a busy month of racing, but I love it,” expressed Martella. “I must thank NIN Transport for all the financial support to ensure that I can race as much as I have been and to the Speed Concepts Racing program for giving me the equipment to run at the front of the field.”
Taking the first green flag of the 2023 USPKS season this coming weekend, Martella will battle in the junior ranks as he looks to add more wins to his growing resume. Already showing huge improvement since joining the SCR program in January, Martella is set for more growth over the next thirty days of race action.
Following the USPKS event, Martella will shift his focus to the ROK Cup USA Florida Winter Tour where he has a shot at a pair of championships. Currently sitting fourth in the point standings in ROK VLR Junior, Martella has positioned himself in the second position in ROK Junior with only one event remaining.
Martella added, “To be able to fight for race wins, podium results and championships entering the final round of a national-level karting program is awesome. The goal is to win the race and the rest will fall into place.”
Following the FWT event, Martella will return to the Orlando Kart Center for the first green flag of the 2023 SKUSA Pro Tour. Once again set to compete in the junior ranks, Martella will be aiming high to provide not only himself but Speed Concepts Racing, OTK and NIN Transport with more race wins and podium results.
Martella continued “I am ready! Let’s go racing!”
