Texas Sprint Racing Series Confirms Updates to 2023 Schedule and Championship Prize Package

The 2023 schedule for the Texas Sprint Racing Series has been adjusted following changes to the Superkarts! USA Pro Tour venues. In an effort to support its racers, TSRS officials elected to adjust the locations of the 2023 season to facilities within the state of Texas. The Superkarts! USA and International Kart Federation sanctioned series will host five events in 2023 at four Lone Star State circuits.

The March 24-26 date remains the same for the Texas Sprint Racing Series opener for the 2023, moving to the popular Speedsportz Racing Park. The New Caney, Texas facility was originally scheduled for the second round of the season, now moved up to host the series opener on the last full weekend of March. The second event of the 2023 season stays on the same May 26-28 weekend, moving to the North Texas Karters facility in Denton, Texas. The Memorial Day weekend event will feature racing under the lights!

Round Three and Four remain unchanged from the original schedule. The third stop features the newly renamed Amarillo Kart Complex following ownership change. The Panhandle, Texas circuit just outside Amarillo will welcome TSRS competitors on the June 30-July 2 weekend. The series will make its first visit to the Rimrock Raceway in Odessa, Texas on August 4-6 to host Round Four of the 2023 program.

The series finale date of September 15-17 remains unchanged, with the venue now confirmed with Speedsportz hosting Round Five of the 2023 championship.

Registration for the 2023 Texas Sprint Racing Series Package – including all five events on the year – is available now until February 18. Round One pre-entry will then open shortly thereafter. 2023 number reservation along with TSRS apparel is also on sale now.
