The 394 drivers that make up the 2022 Rotax Max Challenge Grand Finals took to the Kartodromo Internacional do Algarve in Portimão on Monday for the opening laps of the event. Today was about getting accustomed to learning the spec karts and Rotax engines they received on Sunday, and the 1.531km circuit. The 11 drivers representing Team USA at the ‘Olympics of Karting’ took to the Portugal facility for opening laps of practice.
