Ayden Ingratta Enters ROK Senior at Annual ROK Vegas Event and Eyes a Win
Junior Champion looks to repeat in the senior ranks
After a few senior events on his 2022 results resume to date, Canadian Ayden Ingratta will enter the ROK Senior category at the upcoming ROK Cup USA ROK Vegas event. Taking to the new layout and temporary circuit adjacent to the RIO All-Suite Hotel & Casino, Ingratta will pilot a Speed Concepts Racing and Speed Lab Racing Engines Powered CRG in his goal to win back-to-back ROK Vegas titles.
“Last year we had an awesome race weekend but that was in the junior ranks,” explained Ingratta. “Earning the ROK Vegas title in 2021, I would like nothing more than to double up in Vegas and win back-to-back ROK Vegas events.”
Ingratta, who has been one of the top junior drivers throughout the season winning several ROK Cup USA promoted events, made the move to the senior ranks in the United States a few weeks ago. Earning a top-five result in his first senior event, the Canadian is eager to climb to the podium in Las Vegas.
Ingratta added, “The temporary circuits really suit my driving style, and I think I have learned to challenge when possible and to defend when needed. It is awesome to be racing against the pros in the sport of karting, and I hope that I can take the challenge to them.”
Set to hit the track Wednesday, Ingratta will participate in four practice sessions to kick off his ROK Vegas event weekend. Thursday will feature the ever-important qualifying session late in the day while heat races will take place Friday and Saturday that will eventually set the grid for Sunday’s championship main events.
