The 2022 IZUP Racing Shifterkart Shootout presented by Body Symmetry MD is hosting its final series race at Atlanta Motorsports Park on October 29, 2022.  Series Champions will be crowned with winning purses of $500 each for both the PRO and Masters shifter categories.   IZUP Racing Team Principle Steve Frank said, “Shifterkart racing has been a rich part of karting history and we wanted to promote a series that will bring new growth to the category”.   Body Symmetry MD owner Anthony Brumfield said, “we partnered with the IZUP Racing guys to last year to put on a 2 race winner-take-all series to draw the shifterkart racers back to the track.   We created enough buzz to where AMP invited us back to host a four-race series in 2022.”   The season ending event will be hosted at Atlanta Motorsports Park in Dawsonville GA.  Shifter Pro and Shifter Masters will run together but scored separately.  The series allows Stock Honda (395 lb), ROK (405 lb), and KZ (415 lb) to compete together on MG tires.    For more information contact Steve Frank  shiftersteve@yahoo.com.
