Fresh Off a Big Win, Ayden Ingratta Will Look for More in North Carolina This Weekend
Ingratta set to take on the X30 Pro Junior class at the GoPro Motorplex
Canadian Ayden Ingratta is aiming high this weekend. Traveling to the GoPro Motorplex in Mooresville, North Carolina, Ingratta will join Speed Concepts Racing for the second event weekend of the popular United States Pro Kart Series (USPKS). A victor in 2022 and fresh of a big IAME win in New Orleans, Ingratta is riding a wave of momentum into rounds three and four.
“I love the Mooresville track layout and am looking forward to the weekend,” explained Ingratta. “Speed Concepts Racing and I have had a lot of success here in the past so we will both be pushing hard to build upon those results.”
While many of his competitors will compete in the two junior classes offered, Ingratta will continue to focus on a single class effort as he enters only the X30 Pro Junior category. With a first and second place results card after the first event weekend at the Orlando Kart Center, Ingratta sits second in the point standings only ten markers behind the current point leader.
Ingratta added, “This weekend is important in the overall championship. By the time the final checkered flag waves Sunday, we will be halfway through the series, and we will know exactly where we stand going into the final four races.”
With United States Pro Kart Series national championship points on the line, Ingratta will hit the track on Thursday for unofficial practice before official practice and qualifying sessions run Friday. Saturday and Sunday will feature wheel-to-wheel racing and two opportunities to top the X30 Pro Junior podium.
