Twelve Entries for Team Crosslink at SuperNationals 24

It is that time of year yet again where karting teams and competitors cross the globe and descend on Sin City for the annual Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) SuperNationals. Undergoing some changes in the past few weeks, the event will take on a new venue at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway and a new host hotel, but Team Crosslink drivers will be fight for the same thing as always, the chance to be crowned SuperNationals Champions.

“We have twelve drivers which means that we have twelve chances to win,” expressed Sean Owens, who manages both the Team Crosslink karts and cars program. “We have a solid driver lineup and had some success on temporary circuits in the past two seasons, so our hopes are high as we head to Las Vegas.”

In the X30 Masters class, three notable names will fly the Team Crosslink colors as multi-time race winners Miguel Mier and Derek Wang will be joined by perennial SKUSA SuperNats competitor, Peruvian Armando Watson. Showing their strength in the Masters class for quite some time, Team Crosslink is ready to fight for the SuperNats win.

Two Team Crosslink drivers will pull double duty in Las Vegas as both Alex Stanfield and Reilly Cann will see action in X30 Senior and KA100 Senior at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Lewis Hodgson will join the duo in the X30 class while Christopher Martin will throw his hat into the mix in the talent filled KA category.

Two more entrants will come from the KA100 Junior class with Aden Rudolph and Brayden Robertson flying the Team Crosslink colors. Frontrunners in the KA class throughout the 2021 season, both drivers will be aiming for the front of the field in Las Vegas. The final Team Crosslink entrant will come from the Master Shifter class as Luis Gautier will look to provide Team Crosslink with their first gearbox class win in the city that doesn’t sleep.

Team Crosslink drivers will hit the track on Wednesday for four practice sessions per class and then again on Thursday for another two before qualifying. Friday will be the first two of three heat races for each class with the third and final heat and last chance qualifying races take place on Saturday. Christmas Day in karting takes place on Sunday, December 5th. Dubbed Super Sunday, Team Crosslink will close their weekend out on top as they look to help their competitors earn the right to be named SuperNational Champions.
