United States Pro Kart Series Releases 2022 Dates

With three of the four 2021 events in the books, it’s time to start looking ahead to the 2022 program.  For 2022, the United States Pro Kart Series continues its successful partnership with MG Tires and IAME USA East, and looks to build on that solid base.

USPKS has made a commitment to their customers to provide a stable and reliable format and platform.  That said, we’ve all heard that variety is the spice of life, so the 2022 program will feature two repeat tracks, and two tracks that are completely new to the series.

While a full schedule release is pending the finalizing of contracts with venues, the series recognizes the importance of the race dates to racers and teams when planning their future programs, so here is the 2022 USPKS calendar.

2021 opened with its biggest event ever, held at Ocala Gran Prix in Ocala, FL.  Alas, that venue is no more.  Recognizing the importance of the Florida karting market and the huge support of the series by Florida racers, the series opener on March 3-6, 2022 will likely be in Florida again.

The second stop on the 2022 calendar will take place April 28-May 1, 2022.  We’ll have to wait for the final venue location on this stop, but this event will likely take place in the Southwestern US, giving a nod to the many new teams and racers coming from that part of the country.

For 2022, the Briggs & Stratton Motorplex at Road America maintains the third spot in the rotation, and is scheduled for July 7-10, 2022, the same weekend as 2021.

Round 2 in 2021 was held at New Castle Motorsports Park, and was our biggest NCMP event ever, and was the one of the biggest 2 cycle events ever at NCMP.  We closed out our seasons at NCMP in 2014, 2015, 2018, and 2019, and it’ll be back as the season finale, and location of the Awards Ceremony for 2022, wrapping the season up on September 15-18, 2022.
