The motor mount is a crucial component of every kart. That hardware is what connects the power to the frame and allows you to drive your way to the top of the podium. The newest item to hit the market is the ORP PRO Series 8 Degree motor mount. Fresh off the CNC machine, the 8 Degree is the lightest model on the PRO Series lineup with the inside milled out to reduce weight and allows for air to flow which helps to improve cooling. The PRO Series 8 Degree is aimed toward the IAME X30, but will fit other popular engines as well. In addition to the standard middle clamp hole, the 8 Degree has two additional tapped holes for the use of other 2-bolt style clamps to the frame rails. Like all Odenthal mounts, it is designed for 30×90 and 30×92 chassis frames with standard or euro clamps compatible and the option to add a copper vibration plate to enhance mid-range and top-end power while improving engine life. As with all ORP products, it comes with their industry-leading lifetime warranty.
