World Karting Association Confirms Manufacturers Cup, Speedway Dirt and Summer Series Dates for 2021
Having confirmed dates and locations for the majority of their 2021 season, World Karting Association is reiterating their plans for the upcoming year. With series schedules set for the Bridgestone Manufacturers Cup, the new Summer Club Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway, as well as the return of a national schedule for the Maxxis Speedway Dirt series, excitement is building for the upcoming season.
“Our new season always kicks off at Daytona, and we have been busy preparing for this big event in Florida in December,” states WKA Chairman of the Board Mike Tetreault. “That being said, we released dates for many of our series weeks ago, and as other karting entities release their 2021 schedules, we wanted to confirm our dates to allow members and the karting industry to plan for the upcoming year.”
WKA has assembled five events WKA Maxxis Tire Speedway Dirt Series Presented by Summit Racing that rivals the best ever for a National Dirt schedule. WKA will also host a single, non-points race at The Dirt Track at Charlotte, adding to the buzz around 2021’s Dirt season.

Round 2: Iron City – March 13
Round 3: Paradise – May 15
Round 4: Triple T – June 12
Round 5: Charlotte Motor Speedway – September 25
One-Off: The Dirt Track at Charlotte – April 16-17
The Bridgestone Manufacturers Cup Presented by Summit Racing Equipment series will feature significant changes in 2021, with three rounds and no drops, and well as the introduction of the WKA Summer Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

April 15-18: WKA Karting Challenge – Charlotte Motor Speedway
September 17-19: WKA Grand Nationals – New Castle Motorsports Park

Round 1: May 7-8
Round 2: June 26-27
Round 3: August 21-22
Round 4: September 25-26
“We are still working to finalize our 2021 Road Racing schedule, but everyone at WKA has been diligently working to confirm the dates and location,” added Tetreault. “We thank everyone for their patience, and we will release the final schedule as soon as possible so stay tuned to our social media pages and website.”
WKA is also in the planning stages for their return to pavement oval racing. Posting a ‘Save the Date’ notice for March 6-7, 2021, more details will be announced for this exciting addition to the 2021 WKA calendar.
