A-Maxx Racing WKA Summer eSports Series Shifts Dates to Accommodate Racers

Due to the pandemic-driven changes to racing schedules around the world, the A-Maxx Racing WKA Summer eSports Series Presented by Summit Racing Equipment is shifting dates to accommodate the racer. With WKA competitors expressing concerns that they would be traveling to kart races for the first event in the Summer eSports Series, a minor adjustment has been made to accommodate the best way possible.

“These revolving restrictions around the country have caused a few changes to many of the racing programs, and our eSports Series is no different,” explained Kevin Williams. “The last thing we wanted to do is hold races that our racers would not be able to attend due mainly to travel. It made the most sense to simply shift the series one week to make the entire series available to the karters.”

As a result, series organizers have decided to shift the series one week later to start July 29, rather than July 22. The A-Maxx Racing WKA Summer eSports Series Presented by Summit Racing Equipment will still be held on Wednesday nights, for four straight weeks, and starting at 7pm for racers, and 8pm for the weekly live broadcasts.

The A-Maxx Racing WKA Summer eSports Series Presented by Summit Racing Equipment Schedule:
July 29 – Indianapolis Motor Speedway Road Course
August 5 – Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course
August 12 – WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca
August 19 – Championship Event – Charlotte MOtor Speedway Roval
**All Times Eastern, 7pm Racers Start Practice, 8pm Broadcast (on all the regular channels)

Entry fee for the complete series will be $75.00 and will be limited to only 62 drivers.
