FIA Karting: Lonato to Replace Le Mans in September 2020

In light of the evolving COVID-19 (Coronavirus) situation, restrictions put in place by the French government, international travel restrictions and the consequent postponement by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO) of its Le Mans Karting event on 10th-13th September 2020, the FIA Karting World Championship – KZ, the FIA Karting International Super Cup – KZ2, the third competition of the FIA Karting Academy Trophy and the FIA Karting Historic Super Cup that were scheduled to take place at Le Mans have been rescheduled*.

The second Competition of the FIA Karting European Championship – KZ & KZ2, as well as the FIA Karting Academy Trophy scheduled in Lonato from 13th to 16th August 2020 will take place on the Adria Karting Circuit in Adria (ITA) on the same date*.

This decision was made after careful consideration and consultation with the FIA, the relevant ASNs and the local event organiser, as the health and safety of everyone involved remains the top priority.

The Italian ASN ACI – CSAI and the South Garda Karting circuit have agreed to take over the hosting of the FIA Karting World Championship – KZ, the FIA Karting International Super Cup – KZ2, the third Competition of the FIA Karting Academy Trophy and the FIA Karting Historic Super Cup in Lonato (ITA) from 10th to 13th September 2020*.

We will provide further updates as we have them.
