Mixed conditions greeted the 460 drivers taking part in the 2019 IAME International Final. The Le Mans Karting International track inside the historic 24-hour circuit is the site for the international event, bringing together drivers from all over the world, including 15 representing North America. Rain covered the French facility early on for the first official practices of the event, with questionable weather a factor each year for the event. The rain held off for qualifying for the morning groups in which the Mini contingent shined for North America. Rain hit during the afternoon, mixing up the results based on groups. Each category has two heat races to contest to begin the wheel-to-wheel action.

Live timing and video will be available throughout the event at the IAME website

Time Table

X30 Mini (70 entries)

A total of five drivers representing North America sit inside the top-15 – three of which call USA home. Max Garcia – racing in France thanks to his ticket from the Sunshine State Karting Championship – set the overall quick time for qualifying in the first group, edging out Italian Sebastiano Pavan by three thousandths of a second. Fellow USA driver Christian Miles – racing thanks to his United States Pro Kart Series championship – was third overall. Florida driver Miguel Costa, fresh off racing in Italy last week, was fifth when combining the two groups. SKUSA Pro Tour X30 Junior champion Freddie Slater is racing in the Mini category due to his age, and ended up eighth. Canadian Ian Qiu made it five inside the top-15. Mexico driver Ivanna Richards finished inside the top-60, having work to do in the heat races.
