Superkarts! USA Confirms 2020 Event Dates for National Racing Calendar

Superkarts! USA today confirmed the first of their 2020 regional and national karting calendar dates, complete with some early confirmations on venues and geographic locations. The move comes on the heels of wanting to help teams and drivers make early plans for next year, and to promote cooperation between other racing organizations’ schedules.

“It’s no secret there are other places our customers can race,” remarked SKUSA’s president Tom Kutscher. “Our goal for 2020 was to confirm our dates as early as humanly possible so we could ensure as few scheduling or logistical conflicts as possible for our racers.”

The 2020 SKUSA calendar dates are as follows:

SKUSA 2020 SKUSA Winter Series

Rounds 1-2: January 10-12, 2020

Rounds 3-4: February 7-9, 2020

SKUSA 2020 ProTour

SKUSA WinterNationals: March 13-15, 2020 (Eastern United States)

SKUSA SpringNationals: May 1-3, 2020 – TBA

SKUSA SummerNationals: August 7-9, 2020 – New Castle, Indiana

SKUSA SuperNationals 24: November 19-22, 2020 – Las Vegas, Nevada

California ProKart Challenge

Feb 29 – Mar 1, 2020

April 4-5, 2020

June 13-14, 2020

July 11-12, 2020

September 26-27, 2020

SKUSA’s Tom Kutscher had more to say on the challenges of scheduling, “If I’m honest, it’s one of the hardest things to do every year. There are numerous venues who are all very deserving of hosting a national or regional event, and each make a compelling case for us to pick them. We try our best to consider teams’ commutes to the events and are excited to confirm we’ll be doing our WinterNationals on the eastern side of the country this year.”

Full venue confirmations will be made in the coming weeks of 2019, including confirmations on regional and national prizes along with information regarding regions like the Great Lakes ProKart Challenge and the Texas ProKart Challenge.
