Frankie Iadevaia Partners with Solo Kart USA
Solo Kart USA is pleased to officially welcome Frankie Iadevaia to the Factory Solo Kart Race Team for the 2019 race season. Starting off in January at the SKUSA Winter Series, the Long Island, New York native will pilot the Solo Kart SK2 Factory Edition chassis alongside teammate and Solo Kart Senior driver Jesus Rios. Iadevaia joins the Solo Kart family coming off of a very successful career in the competitive Cadet classes, most notable in Micro Swift, finishing second in points for the 2017 SKUSA Pro Tour championship. This season, he will be stepping up and tackling the competitive X30 Junior category.
Frankie Iadevaia: “I was really excited when Solo Kart called and talked to my dad about an opportunity to race on the team! Going into Junior category, it gives me a lot of confidence having the support from Solo Kart. I know I have a lot to learn coming from Cadets into Junior but being on a Solo Kart chassis under the factory tent is just awesome! I can’t wait to get out there and race. With Adam, Sal and Solo Kart, I know I am in the best possible position for winning.
Solo Kart Co-Owner, Adam Pettit: “I have watched Frankie grow up with him and his dad at the track since Frankie started in a kid kart. We share the same hometown tracks so I’ve gotten to know both Frankie and his father Enzo pretty well throughout the years. To develop a successful driver you have to have the whole package. Of course, you have to be a talented driver but successful drivers and racing careers equally require great attitudes and willingness to listen. We see this potential in Frankie which ultimately made it easy for us to pursue a partnership.”
Solo Kart Co Owner, Salvo Sparacio: “I couldn’t imagine a better fit and opportunity to develop a young driver. We’re excited to have Frankie join the Solo Kart Factory Racing Team for the upcoming 2019 season. Frankie has had an exciting and successful career in Cadets and our goal is to give him the tools to continue that success on a Solo Kart going forward. We feel the combination of both Rios and Iadevaia racing on the Solo Kart Factory Team in 2019 is strong, and our hopes are that they will both showcase not only their talent as drivers but also that Solo Kart is a brand to compete and win at the top level of kart racing. The Solo Kart Team commits to investing a lot of time and resources long-term into our drivers providing them with factory-backed support in order for them to have successful careers with the team. We look forward to Frankie taking full advantage of these opportunities so we all can enjoy even more success as a team and a lasting future together.”
