Badger Kart Club announced today a multi-year partnership with MG Tires as the title sponsor of the Badger Kart Club / MG Tires Championship Points Series beginning with the 2018 season. MG Tires will be the spec tire for the points classes beginning with the 2018 season, with the high-speed TaG Junior and TaG Senior classes using the MG FZ “Yellow” compound, other two-cycle classes using the HZ “Red” compound, and the four-cycle classes using the VK “Orange” compound. Many local two-cycle racers are familiar with the FZ and HZ compounds, as they have been used in the popular Route 66 Sprint Series for several years. The VK tire is designed as an option to provide more grip than the harder IR “Blue” tire, which still providing excellent durability the club’s Briggs Animal and LO206 racers asked for.

Badger Kart Club has operated Wolf Paving Raceway in Dousman, Wisconsin, since the 1960’s hosting a variety of local, regional, and national karting events annually.
