EKN TV: Mike Giessen – OVRP Formula A
The Oakland Valley Raceway Park has been busy since its repaving completed earlier this month. Hosting the Rok Cup USA Midwest opener, the Cuddebackville, New York circuit hosted the Northeast Vintage Kart Promoter’s Cup Series event this past weekend. Among those in attendance was Brian and Mike Giessen. The longtime karting father/son duo were there to show off their restore of a Lancer kart. The promoters also allowed Mike to take some track time with his ‘almost vintage’ Formula A machine.
Here are two vantage points to give you the idea of a screaming engine and what its like to drive on the new OVRP circuit.
