F100 Announces Maximum Gear Size and Minimum Weight Changes for FK125 and FIK125 Masters

Based on feedback received from racers, F100 has announced the following changes to the FK125 and FK125 Masters maximum gear size rule. The maximum gearing rule now reads as follows:

FK125

Maximum Gear Size (no gears above this size are allowed, but any gear below this size is allowed)

Clutch driver size: 11 tooth only

Maximum gear sizes for Leopard and PRD are as follows:

Adams – 80

Apex – 78

Bluemax Kart Track – 80

Buttonwillow – 80

Calspeed – 80

Grange CW – 78

Grange CCW – 80

Willow Springs – 82

FK125 Masters

Maximum Gear Size (no gears above this size are allowed, but any gear below this size is allowed)

Clutch driver size: 11 tooth only

Maximum gear sizes for Leopard and PRD are as follows:

Adams – 82

Apex – 80

Bluemax Kart Track – 82

Buttonwillow – 82

Calspeed – 82

Grange CW – 80

Grange CCW – 82

Willow Springs – 84

In order to fall more in line with the minimum weights run at other racing series utilizing similar engine packages, F100 has changed the minimum weight rules for the FK125 class from 365 lbs to 360 lbs and the minimum weight for FK125 Masters class from 405 lbs to 390 lbs.

F100 would like to remind all racers running PRD Fireball engines that the Tillotson HL-360a carburetor is legal for use in all F100 classes in which the PRD Fireball may be utilized.
