Speedway Indoor Karting Set to Open Friday

‘Indoor Racing Capital of the World’ to open for the public in Speedway, Indiana

Indianapolis has now become host of the ‘Indoor Racing Capital of the World’ on Friday when Speedway Indoor Karting opens in Speedway, Indiana. The facility is the creation of IndyCar driver and car owner Sarah Fisher and her family. SKI is a 60,000 square-foot building equipped with a two-level road course along with a mini superspeedway. SKI elected to utilize the new CRG rental fleet, including Junior and Senior level karts. The facility also includes the 1911 Grill, a family dining restaurant with views of the track.

Racer Magazine visited last night during a test session that included some IndyCar drivers and Robin Miller talked with Fisher to discuss what they are doing.
