Ricciardo Kart in Castelletto for the Inaugural Round of the WSK Super Master Series
Ricciardo Kart Racing will be back on track for the first round of the WSK Super Master Series, held on March 3-6 at the International Circuit 7 Laghi in Castelletto di Branduzzo (Italy).
On track Rick Dreezen (KZ), Javier Gonzalez (OK), Kiern Jewiss and Rasmus Lindh (OKJ).
Rickard Kaell, Sporting Director: “The tests last week were very positive. In OKJ, Rasmus Lindh and Kiern Jewis were very fast and our goal is to fight for victory. In Castelletto, Javier Gonzalez will make his debut in OK: it will not be easy given the highly competitive level of the category, but our objective is to fight for the top places. We were also fast in KZ and our goal with Rick Dreezen is to fight for the top step of the podium.”
Rick Dreezen, #11: “The start of the WSK Super Masters represents the start of the first important championship of the season. In the tests, we worked hard to be as well prepared as possible. In general, we were at a very high level during the tests, although we must pay attention to the changing conditions during a race weekend. The potential of the Team is very high and I can see a growing confidence week by week. The goal is to fight for the podium positions.”
Javier Gonzalez, #217: “For my debut at the WSK Super Master, for sure I will push to get the best result possible, although I need to change my driving style a little bit. I’m confident that working closely with the team, we can bring home really good results.”
Kiern Jewiss, #309: “I feel confident: my tests went well last week and the Team is in good spirits. I’m sure there are a lot of other drivers who feel the same and that is why I will continue to work on myself leading up to the weekend. My goal will be to take as many points as possible from the first round.”
Rasmus Lindh, #310: “I’m looking forward to coming back on track in Castelletto for the first round of the WSK Super Master and to race with the new engine again. The chassis is also working very well.”
