First round of the WSK Super Master for Birel ART
Birel ART Racing will hit the track in Castelletto di Branduzzo for the inaugural round of the WSK Super Master Series, on March 3-6.
The Factory Team will be represented by Jordon Lennox-Lamb (KZ), Martijn van Leeuwen and Lucas Légeret (OK), Caio Collett and Ulysse De Pauw (OKJ).
Gianluca Beggio, Technical Director: “We had a very positive test last week: we tried several new technical parts that gave us some excellent results. We are very confident of being able to achieve good results in all categories, regardless of the weather conditions.”
Jordon Lennox-Lamb, #7: “Our test was very positive: we tried some new components. In addition, the engine performance was very good: we are really in a very competitive situation, also in OK and OKJ. I’m looking forward to getting on track.”
Martijn van Leeuwen, #215: “Last week’s tests again went very well. We tried some new developments in the chassis and the speed was consistently good. I am confident for the inaugural round of the WSK Super Master Series. The Team is working hard and I feel really motivated.”
Lucas Légeret, #216: “In the two testing days, we tried a lot of settings and we found the right direction. The speed was there, but we still need to find a little more. If we don’t have any technical problems, we can achieve a good result.”
Caio Collet, #307: “In Castelletto we tried different solutions and we have been competitive. Every time I go on track, I feel more confident with the kart and with the Team. I’m very confident for the weekend.”
Ulysse De Pauw, #308: “Last week’s test went very well. We are improving the chassis and the engine every time and we work a lot together. I hope to get a good result in Castelletto, just like we did last year.”
