Go Pro Winter Cup Entry Blank Now Online

With stop #2 for the all new WKA Winter Cup Series just a few weeks away at 103rd Street Sports Complex in Jacksonville, Florida, in no time, the rigs will be quickly heading to GoPro Motorplex in Mooresville, North Carolina for the third and final stop for the series inaugural season.

And for competitors trying to stay on top of things, the entry blank for the championship race of the Winter Cup Series is now online. With the Winter Cup events 1 month apart, combined with a tiered fee system, WKA has extended the Tier 1 deadline for the Go Pro Winter Cup event to February 11, giving racers a chance to get home following the Jacksonville event, and catch their breath, instead of having the deadline the weekend OF the Jacksonville event. The Tier 2 deadline is Feb 24, 1 week and 2 days before the events final race.

In addition to honoring the winners of the final race of the 3 race Winter swing, the Champions, as well as Top 3 finishers in each class will also be honored on the spot that Sunday as well, etching their names in the history books as the first ever WKA Winter Cup Champions.

Beginning at the next Winter Cup event and for all WKA events in the future (including Gold Cup), all Briggs LO206 engines will need to be sealed as shown in the photo. The sealing wire must go thru one of the carburator attachment bolts and one of the valve cover bolts. The holes should be a minimum of 5/64″ (.078″) and should be free of sharp edges that could cut the sealing wire. Please insure that your engine bolts are drilled before coming to the track.
