New Castle Finalizes WKA Manufacturers Cup Finale Date

Officials at New Castle Motorsports Park, along with WKA, have finalized their national schedule for the Bridgestone Manufacturers Cup Series for the 2016 season, with 2 events for the 2 Cycle national series coming to the famed Indiana complex in the new year, along with a return of the RLV Tuned Exhaust Products Gold Cup Series as well.

Keeping with their traditional mid summer date of July 15-17, the 3rd overall stop on the series, the July race again will fall 1 week prior to the SKUSA Summer Nationals, giving many competitors of the famed western series an additional opportunity for track time. The second stop to New Castle will also be of major importance, as it will mark the culmination in the battle for the national title September 23-25.

Other key dates for the series include an April 4-6 stop at Go Pro Motorplex in Mooresville, North Carolina, the second stop on the series, as well as another August rumble at Pittsburgh International Race Complex in Wampum, Pennsylvania August 19-21. That race will serve as the 4th of 5 events for the year on the series.

New Castle will also bring back the ever popular RLV Tuned Exhaust Products Gold Cup Series next year. With the growing popularity of the LO206 Program in many parts of the country, including Indiana, officials at NCMP felt the time was perfect to bring the best 4 cycle racers in the nation back to the track for the third national of the season for the series August 5-7, following events at 103rd Street Sports Complex in Jacksonville, Florida for their April season opener, followed by the June battle at Carolina Motorsports Park June 24-26 in Kershaw, South Carolina. The final date and venue for the Gold Cup Series will be announced shortly.

Van K Wheels Providing Wheels at Dirt World Championship

Continuing a tradition for the past few years, Van K Wheels for another year returns in a big way for the competitors Dec 27-30 at the WKA/Unilli Dirt World Championship at Daytona International Speedway.

As a current sponsor already for the Pro Junior 3 Clone Heavy Class, offering $1,000 to win, Brian and Natalie Bass are also providing wheels to competitors that may not be as fortunate to take the top prize in a couple weeks, by providing wheels to drivers in select classes that may incur some Hard Luck.

Drivers in the Pro Champ Lite, Pro Junior 2 Clone, Semi Pro Animal Heavy, and Pro Animal Heavy classes who are met with a tough circumstance in the race, will still have a chance to come away with Black P-Zero Wheels.

Additionally, the winner in the Pro Junior 3 Class, sponsored by Van K, will also be eligible for a set of wheels, thus spreading fortunes around for many drivers.

The Van K sponsorship is one of many at the $100,000 Unilli Dirt World Championship, including Champ Lite sponsor BDL Motorsports, Day 1 Pro Junior 3 Clone sponsor Onyx Racing Chassis, as well as Charger Racing Chassis, the sponsor of the $5,000 to win Pro Animal Heavy main, as well as MC Motorsports, sponsor of the $10,000 to win Pro Clone Heavy final.

ONYX Racing Chassis Joins Daytona Dirt World Event

With Van K Wheels covering the Pro Junior 3 Clone class on Day #2 of the WKA/Unilli Dirt World Championships Dec 27-30 at Daytona International Speedway, ONYX Racing Chassis has jumped on board to take care of the class on Day #1.

Offering $1,000 to win on both days of competition, the Junior 3 class will be loaded for bear, leading ONYX Racing Chassis owner Jason Williamson to jump on board for the event.

Onyx joins BDL Motorsports, Charger Racing Chassis, Van K Wheels, and MC Motorsports as some of the official class sponsors for the 2015 edition of the $100,000 Unilli Dirt World Championship.

Activities for the Dirt World Championship get underway Sunday December 27 with parking at 8am, followed by practice from 1-5pm. The battle for keeps gets underway the next 2 days as 39 classes battle for the over $100,000 in posted purse, awards, and merchandise.
