Allison Racing Engines Formed

Experienced engine builder Brandon Jenkins establishing own karting engine service center

To be successful at racing, a number of factors need to come together and perform as one in order to achieve top results. Engine performance is part of that equation, and Allison Racing Engines is the newest operation to provide the top level service to reach the top step of the podium. Brandon Jenkins, an established engine service technician, has formed his own company toward servicing kart engines in a shop based just outside the Indianapolis area. Jenkins is set to continue his excellent customer service and knowledge base into this new venture.

Jenkins began racing karts at the age of 12. During his time as a racer, he learned a lot about set-up, including tire pressure and selecting the correct gearing. Mechanically, Jenkins gained knowledge with the help of his father on clutches and regular engine maintenance, such as cleaning the carbon and rebuilding carburetors. While in high school, Brandon expanded his engine service skills and began working on engines full-time, spending the last decade building national winning engines for customers across the country.

“I have come to a point in my life where I need to break away and do something on my own,” commented Jenkins. “I have learned a lot from my previous employer and their entire family. I respect what they stand for and who they are. Things have just come to a point where I need to focus on what is best for me and my family. I wish them the best of luck as they move forward.”

“I am excited about what the future holds for Allison Racing Engines, continued Jenkins. “I will continue to support racers with the same respect and customer service they are accustomed to when working with me before, at and after a race weekend. I can’t wait to see Allison Racing Engines customers land at the top of the podium in our first races.”

Allison Racing Engines plans on supporting customers at a number of national and regional events as the 2015 season closes out, heading right into 2016 with support at the United States Pro Kart Series, WKA Manufacturers Cup Series, Superkarts! USA Pro Tour and winter programs in Florida.

Anyone interested in working with the Allison Racing Engines company moving forward are asked to contact Brandon Jenkins via email or call 317-522-7111. Allison Racing Engines services all major engine brands, including IAME, Vortex, Yamaha, and other 2-cycle engines. A website and social media outlets are currently under construction and set to debut in the coming days.
