Fletcher Motorsport’s with driver Keidon Fletcher will race with the Venom Racing Solutions Team in the ECKC Karting series and the Canadian Nationals in 2015. The 11 year old driver and former WRKC cadet champion will pilot a 2015 VRS K&K Racing Cobra chassis. Teaming with the 2014 ECKC Senior Champion Jon Treadwell for the season as a mentor and driving coach will allow Keidon to develop under a true champion calibre driver and team. Keidon and his partners Legendary Motorcar, Unique Foods Canada, Protein2O, Icelandic Glacier Water, Hype Energy Drinks, Fine Details Milton, Driven Oil, B&B Decals and Shoeless Joes Milton will raise awareness for Cancer Assistance Service of Halton Hills. The 4 event ECKC Series travels to 4 tracks in 2 provinces, racing 7 times at some of Canada’s greatest tracks, Goodwood, Mosport, Mt Tremblant and PSL. The 2015 Canadian National Karting Championship will be in August at the famed Mosport complex, now Canadian Tire Motorsport Park.

“It’s going to be a great learning year” the young Fletcher continued, “Race finishes and improving each race is the first goal.” Keidon is entering his 5th year of kart racing, already a champion, multiple race event winner including a 2 time Shannonville Bear Hunt winner, this young veteran knows the challenges ahead racing against older and more experienced drivers. Keidon will keep busy racing at his home club Waterloo Regional Kart Club. WRKC races 14 events out of Flamboro Speedway. The Jr Lite driver will be running the majority of the season in his Dayglo Powered K&K Racing Kart as he moves from the novice division. As the busy racing schedule continues with club events at Goodwood, Mosport and KDKC. The team may compete in 30 plus races this year.

Team principal Scott Fletcher is no stranger to the travel as a former racer himself. “We have raced 35-40 times a year, the hard part is just getting rolling and we can’t wait to get started this year.” Scott adding “Having Jon and James take Keidon under his tutelage will be a big boost for him, we are very excited and realistic on the goals this season.”
