Florida Pro Kart Series Announces More Prizes and Sponsors to Their Inaugural Winter Program

Series welcomes four new associate sponsors

Florida Pro Kart Series logoThe anticipation is building for the first event of the 2015 Florida Pro Kart Series (FPKS) Winter Program, which is set to launch January 9th at the Palm Beach Karting Center. With all of the excitement come more sponsors supporting the program and bigger prize packages for all series competitors. The Florida Pro Kart Series will also give back to the karting community by sponsoring the upcoming World Karting Association (WKA) Manufacturers Cup event at the Daytona International Speedway.

Briggs & Stratton Payouts
All classes will utilize WKA and Briggs & Stratton L206 rules and sealed engines. Adding further support, Briggs & Stratton will also be bringing an extra prize value to podium finishers each weekend event. A first place finish will come with a $500 prize, second place with $250, third place will receive $150, and fourth place $100.

The top finisher in the series point standings in the new IAME Mini Swift category will receive a guaranteed SuperSunday starting spot for the 2015 Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) SuperNationals in Las Vegas, along with paid entry and race tires. The second place finisher in the standings will receive a free IAME Mini Swift engine and the third place finisher will receive a $500 IAME gift certificate. Fourth place will receive a $250 IAME gift certificate, and fifth place a $100 IAME gift certificate. All of these packages will be presented in March at the final event in Jacksonville, Florida. Possible weekend prize packages will be announced in the near future.

The FPKS is all about giving back to the karting community and with that mantra, the series will be the presenting sponsor of the live video coverage of the WKA Manufacturers Cup event at Daytona International Speedway for KartWeek.
